Introduction:

I am writing this situation explanation to clarify the reasons behind my absence from work on 5th July 2021.

Background:

On 4th July 2021, I received a call from my mother informing me that my grandfather had been admitted to the hospital due to a sudden health emergency. As my grandfather is the patriarch of our family and his health condition was critical, I immediately left for my hometown to be with my family.

Actions Taken:

Upon reaching my hometown, I rushed to the hospital to be with my grandfather and my family. I stayed at the hospital for the entire night, providing emotional support to my family and ensuring that my grandfather received the medical attention he required. I also helped with the administrative tasks involved in hospitalization, such as filling out forms and communicating with the hospital staff.

On the morning of 5th July, my grandfather's condition stabilized, and I returned to my hometown to take care of some essential tasks, such as arranging for a caretaker for my grandfather and ensuring that my family had access to the necessary resources.

I informed my supervisor about my absence on the same day and kept them updated about my grandfather's health condition throughout the week.

Conclusion:
